About Spencer Livestock

Spencer Livestock Sales is located just north of the junctions of U.S. Hwys. 71 and 18 in north Spencer. We offer a weekly sale on Tuesdays beginning at 11:45 am with Hay followed by Livestock at 12:30. The first Tuesday of every month there is a sheep and goat special and we also offer various other preconditioned and consignment sales throughout the year.

Past. Present. Future.

 

The Spencer Livestock Sales buildings as they stand today, were originally built in the early 80's and it has been a family-owned business ever since. With two previous owners and a lot of needed updates, we took over Spencer Livestock Sales in January of 2014.

 

We knew it would be a challenge, but we were ready for it! We have made a lot of improvements in the first year, including new pens south of the barn, many repairs to boards and the structure inside of the barn and new water drinkers. Additionally, we put tile down in the parking lot, spruced up the ring with new TVs and a sound system, and fully remodeled the Sale Barn Cafe with an oven and flat iron grill!

 

We still have a lot of updates to make, but it is coming along and we're ecstatic about the future. We want to thank everyone for their continued support and business, it truly means the world to us.
